This Official Witco Decor mug and carving combo is modelled after an original William Westenhaver design from the early 1960’s. The “Polynesian Fishing God” was the first of many fountains that he designed in his 20 years as artist and president of the company. The wood carving is carved by Ken Pleasant and the ceramic tiki mug was produced by Omar Girona and his team at Oakwash, a ceramics studio in Louisiana for Witco Decor. It represents a weathered, vintage Witco Fountain with it’s distressed surfaces and a dark chocolate glaze. Each carving and mug is as distinctly different, just as each carving that was produced in the Witco Factory was distinctly different. The wood carving is 24” tall by 6” in diameter with clear coat. The mug features a chocolate brown glaze. This mug holds 22 OZs of your favorite beverage and measure 8.75 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter. Hand wash only. Carving may fade or check due to moisture content sun and weather. The carving and mug may be shipped in two separate boxes for safety may be shipped UPS, USPS, or FedEx.
